The Peculiar Kind is a web series turned documentary. THE SERIES EXPLORES EVERYDAY ISSUES THROUGH THE LENS OF QUEER WOMEN OF COLOR IN BROOKLYN, NEW YORK. THE WEB SERIES PREMIERED IN EARLY 2012 AND CAME TO AN END LATE 2014.
The Peculiar Kind: The Doc combines the discussions THAT MANY love from past episodes as well as never before seen conversations, stories, features and behind the scenes footage. The documentary explores race, EDUCATION, GENDER PERFORMANCE, queer(S) in the media and much, much more.
